Tips for Preparing a CV

Clarity and Directness: Keep your CV simple and use bullet points to emphasise the key attributes and skills that will get you the job.

Assignment Driven: Emphasise key achievements rather than using long-winded descriptions.

Current Employment First: For some people it is important to state the obvious.

Grammar and Spelling: Read through your CV several times before submission to check it is correct. It is often a good idea to get someone else to check it also and see if they have any ideas. Two minds are greater than one.

Integrity: Being dishonest will cause you more problems than it will solve.
