Work Visas and Work Permits
Whilst JobTrust does not itself obtain Work Visas or Work Permits, we subcontract to Experts in this field who provide an efficient service for Employers to obtain Work Visas for their chosen candidates.
If on the other hand the USA employer needs to place staff in their International Offices, JobTrust will be able to facilitate this and ensure all legal requirements are complied with.
Differences between a Work Visa and a Work Permit
- Work Visas allows the candidate to live in the USA and work for a specific employer only. That employer will apply for the Work Visa for the candidate and the Work Visa only remains valid for as long as the candidate continues working for that employer.
- Work permits or Employment Authorization Documents (EADs) are not tied to a specific employer. Once a candidate has a Work Permit, they can work for any employer in the USA. This can only happen if the candidate has an immigration status that allows them to keep working.
